Trade & Freeport

Trade turns surplus into power. At your HQ, open the Trade panel to deal with partners on the same map — other players or NPCs with a trade center.
Fixed offer (player trade)
You create a fixed offer: what you give and what you want in return. The other player can accept or decline the offer. If they want different terms, they create a new offer — there is no counter-offer and no negotiation round.
- Trade value is checked on the server (reference price ± allowed spread).
- Resources are not transferred instantly.
- Trade ships launch after acceptance; credit happens only on arrival.
Freeport & hub market
The freeport hub is a social and economic crossroads on each map — market, NPCs, and the bar where commanders meet (see Freeport Bar & Imperator). Hub barter at the marketplace building is a separate path (counter/approve) — distinct from player fixed offers.
To move resources to another galaxy map, use Transport Between Maps — not the trade panel.
Trading peacefully can fund a military later. Many experienced commanders start as merchants, then reinvest profits into fleets and research.
Protect your trade routes. Rivals and raiders know that convoys carry value. Escort important runs or negotiate safe passage with neighbours.
